Average Gross Profit by Source Details Sub-report

The Average Gross Profit by Source Details sub-report displays information similar to information found in the Average Gross Profit by Source report.  Information is only available if your dealership has AVV’s DMS Data Retrieval program.  The goal of this sub-report is to show the dollar amounts made on a vehicle sale.

The data displays based on criteria selected in the main Lead Source Performance report.  Therefore, if you select January 2009 for the month and year of the Lead Source Performance report, then the Average Gross Profit by Source Details sub-report shows gross profit information for sources for January 2009.  Likewise, if you chose Internet as the only Prospect Type for the Lead Source Performance report, then you will only see Internet prospects in the Average Gross Profit by Source Details.  Additionally, the sources that display in the graph are those selected in the Graph column of the Lead Source Performance report.

The Average Gross Profit by Source Details sub-report includes the following columns of data:

Source

Name – The names are links to the Prospect Details record

Vehicle

Front (Front-end Gross)

Back (Back-end Gross)

Total Gross

DMS Status  

Prospect Type – The type of prospect such as Internet, Phone-up or Walk-in

You can sort all the column information using the arrows next to the column headers.  The data sorts initially by source and name.  You can also use the option in the left navigation pane to filter by Source

Important Note:

The data for the Average Gross Profit by Source Details sub-report is compiled on a nightly basis.  The report’s information is current up to the previous day.  Any changes made in the Web Control system during the current day are reflected in the next day’s reports.
