Scanner calibration is important if you are using a ScanShell 800 scanner.
You calibrate the scanner after:
Scanner Software has been installed
Scanner Hardware has been installed
Scanner Software Driver has been installed
Scanner Software has been updated
Click Scan License on the Prospect Add Entry page.
Select Calibrate Scanner.
Insert the top end of the AVV Web ID Scan Calibration sheet into the scanner slot. The arrows should face up, and the black boxes face down. The small box enters the scanner first.
Click OK. When the sheet exits the scanner, calibration is complete.

Important Note: If you do not have the original scanner calibration sheet, a printable version is available at: Print it, and cut the calibration sheet to the size marked. Insert the sheet into the scanner with the black blocks down. The smaller block must enter the scanner first. |
